Frequent urination, licking of the genitals, bulging out urine, frequent squatting - these can be signs of bladder problems. Older dogs may develop laxity of the bladder muscles (from sterilization), bladder incontinence, where owners may discover puddles when the dog is resting or sleeping. Obviously, this is a concern and often can only be solved with tablets, especially in sterilized dogs, whose bladder muscles can be damaged during the operation.
Symptoms of bladder problems can also be accompanied by various diseases: diabetes, bladder stones, kidney diseases, etc.
In this case, essential oils can be a good complement to traditional treatment and support an overall strong immune and nervous system. They also relieve symptoms of bladder problems.
Essential oils in this mixture (juniper berry, lemongrass, etc.) help reduce inflammation, act as diuretics, and have a cleansing effect.
Small breed, such as a chihuahua, should be given 5 drops 1-2x a day, then a malamute should be given up to 15 drops 1-2x a day. Suitable for daily use or as a 10-day course in case of bladder infections, bladder muscle laxity, excessive licking, frequent urination, butt dragging, bladder incontinence.
Apply the oil mixture to your hands and then massage the oil into the dog's paw pads, groin, sideburns. Not intended for internal use!
